My guess is that "x" would be 50% for the Liberals, 75% for the NDP and 100% for the Separatists.
Which means...
38% vs 37% (13% + 14% + 10%)
Since nobody likes to have their votes not counted, lets take those lost percentages from the coalition members and add them to the only other party to vote for (CPC).
55% (13% + 4% + 0%) vs 37% (13% + 14% + 10%).
Oh look... a majority. Imagine that.

I have to confess that I don't get this at all. You might have to dumb it down for me a bit....I think that you are saying that more people support the Harper government than support a coalition though, is that right?
If that is your point than I just want to know how exactly you got the percentages for the support amongst the other parties? If your point is something else, than please try to explain it to me again as I don't get it.
