I was informed that it is my job to book a DJ for the wedding. I want a DJ who tries to make people have a good time. I have been to some wedding where the DJ just sits behind his mixer all night and doesn't interact at all. I have been to a few where the DJ will even be out there dancing at times, this is what I want (or it is what I have been told that I want...)

Funny you'd bring that up. That was my wedding job too. I of course procrastinated and managed to annoy my fiance to no end. One day she read me the riot act before I left for school and informed me that if I didn't have a dj by the weekend she was going to murder me.
So I'm sitting in my last class of the day when I remember that I was supposed to be looking for a dj. I turn to the guy I'm working on something with and say "oh damn, I forgot to look for a wedding dj today". He turns back and says "really? I'm a dj". Booked him on the spot.
