Lovely, thats going to help the economy in the long run. Lets tax the out of people and out of the companies that actually employ people, while a the same time make goods more expensive so that people wont't buy. then take that money and piss it down a deep dark well, or knee jerk stimuli thats probable not needed at this time, and expanded and stupid social programs..

Numbers out today also show growth in the Canadian economy compared to contraction of the US economy. Growth that outpaced predictions by a bit. Well would have. Who knows what possible damage could be done right now.
I live in Nova Scotia. It's has a heavy concentration of Liberal and NDP supporters. I have yet to talk to one that supports this move. Many are getting upset that Chretiens friends seem to be taking prominent roles. This is not what people voted for and they are NOT happy.

It shows me that these three parties were planning on this to happen before the offical budget came out, the fact that they're moving forward on this strategy based around a mini budget, or a mid course budget means that they know that they don't have a leg to stand on.
To me this is still soley about seizing power and saving their party bank accounts.
