Your 7 year old niece is named Flip? That's interesting.
Anyways, what is the problem with moving yourself? Get a couple of buddies over, down a few brews, order a pizza and get it done in an afternoon. Hellacheap, and probably safer too, if you keep an eye on things.

Smart ass

No she's not named Flip. I like that word, though...flip. Ok, maybe not.
I'll second the buddies and beer/pizza route. Good times.
Actually, while we are kind of on this topic, my g/f and I are moving to Halifax. Any ideas on the best way to do it? Sadly beer bribery via the friends doesn't work for this one! The horror, I know...
Anywho, the best we have found so far, actually, is FedEx and Canada Post. Go figure, hey. [/b][/quote]
Sell as much stuff as you can on Cpbay and go from there would actually be my suggestion... but you could just use Alberta movers and say you want to go to Edmonton and hope for the best.
Don't and I mean don't do U-Haul. Although I have heard some allright things about the trucks at Budget.
