So driving back from Kelowna yesterday my buddy managed to get 2 speeding tickets within 2 hours. (Impressive I know!!!) BTW both were on the BC side.

Anyway, I've heard some people say that tickets out of province are nothing to worry about and you don't even really have to pay them. Just wondering if anyone knows the facts regarding this? I've thrown out parking tickets before but have never had a speeding ticket in another province. I know my brother ripped up a ticket from the states and never heard about it again but I imagine it's a little different within Canada? Can they get you when you renew your vehicle registration? Or do you just run the risk of being forced to pay if you were to ever run into trouble in that province again?

The real question...should he pay them or not?
Thanks.

BTW if anyone is heading West in the next few days #1 and #97A are both crawling with Cops between Golden and Vernon. Slow down.
