Fist fights? Really? I'm only 6'2" but my knees usually press against the seat in front of me. I had one occasion where the guy in front of me tried to recline and couldn't because of my knees. He tattled to the flight attendant after trying to jam his seat back a couple of times. When the FA asked me about it I basically said, "This is where my knees are. I can't change that. I picked this seat and this is where I want to sit. If he's got an issue, it's his problem.". She told him that there's nothing she could do about it and he'd have to deal with it.
