Hm... OK... Tough call.... Can't decide between 2 picks.... Alright, we'll go with, in the Action/Adventure category... One of very few action shows in recent years that actually hooked my attention from week to week. Interesting, mysterious, conspiratorial plot-lines that engaged the active viewer... Smart characters that were written well... And Jennifer Garner in all those disguises. Good lord, Jennifer Garner. Alias!



It's last couple of seasons the show definitely lost its edge. The season-long plot-lines proved to be too intricate and confusing for the casual network viewer, so JJ Abrams was forced to "dumb it down" into single serving episodes. Which really just didn't work. But at its peak, Alias would leave you with cliffhangers so unexpected, you'd be bashing your head against the wall all summer trying to figure out what the H just happened.
