Sarah Palin went to a local turkey farm in Wasilla, in advance of American Thanksgiving, to pardon a turkey. That's a common thing for politicians to do. Its a PR stunt.

But then she proceeds to give an interview on camera, with the slaughter mechanism in the background.

The farm hand is slaughtering and bleeding the turkeys, during her interview.

I know where my meat comes from, and I'm not ashamed of that.

But here is Sarah Palin, completely oblivious to the irony that she was there to 'pardon' one while everyone sees what's going on in the background.

She just doesn't get it.
