The only thing that I have been warned about with Orijen and some of the other premium brands is that they are so high in protein that some dogs can have issues with things like liver problems, especially puppies and senior dogs (especially if on heart medicines). It's not any sort of a bash on the quality of the food, more just a warning to make sure the food is properly balanced for your dog's developmental and health characteristics.
