I'm all for increased user fees. Pay for what you use is just fine by me! In Norway for instance the price you pay to take the bus varies depending on how long you are on the bus for. Most major roads have toll booths, the further you drive the more you pay. The granola's get a good transit system and the families get great infrastructure, win win!
But what do I know, I live in a "600sq. ft. downtown apartment" and by that I mean a 1000sq. ft. detached bungalow in Sunnyside that is still a 15min walk to work...
