If all went to plan, the city would've had that intersection done, and 3 lanes on Glenmore all the way through to Sarcee, in addition to that new massive interchange at Sarcee being half done by now.

They've rejigged the lights too to make it a longer green on Glenmore and longer wait on 37th. I live in the area and I wouldn't care if they took out the left turn onto 37th either.
Any time that I go by there, even after the supposed longer green, it is still an insane traffic backlog. Just last week I went through there and, with dry roads, only about 10-15 cars made it through on Glenmore. I was lucky to have been going east... the people coming west were backed up almost to Crowchild. So much for the rejigged lights.

Making more traffic go through there, especially after they're used to having free flowing traffic all the way along, is only going to make things worse and make that intersection even more of a bottle neck.

Screw the casino. I don't care about it. I just want traffic on Glenmore to actually flow! They need to at least triple the time on that light, if not more.
