British experimental band The Fireman first hit the airwaves in 1993 with the all-instrumental dance album
Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest. The album was hailed as "staggeringly brilliant" and then
Melody Maker magazine exposed the minds behind The Fireman as producer Youth (Martin Glover) and former Beatle, Paul McCartney.
The second album,
Rushes followed five years later, again an all-instrumental effort and now, in 2008 The Fireman have finally found their voice.
Recorded in 13 one-day sessions over the course of a year
Electric Arguments will be released later this month.
