I preferred Angels & Demons to the Da Vinci Code but never found DVC to be THAT objectionable....perhaps the way you "read" impaired your potential enjoyment? I've discovered that while I am a fan of the idea of books on tape - I just can't listen to them and enjoy them the way I enjoy actual books.
