With apologies in advance to DFF,
The Don Lapre Appreciation Society selects in the category of
Drama,
Twin Peaks
Absolutely my favorite TV series of all time across all genres. Other than a couple of miniseries in the 1970s (which I will not name yet), David Lynch & Mark Frost's
Twin Peaks created arguably the greatest storm of buzz, publicity and press coverage in television history.
I'll write more tomorrow when I'm not so tired. But here is where I explain where my CP name comes from:
Windom Earle (character)
(IMDB)
Earle is a psychopathic ex FBI agent who went insane after a violent tragedy in
Pittsburgh, involving Agent Cooper. In the 1970's he was assigned to the government
top secret research procedure called Project Blue Book. He discovered something of
significant importance, so much so that he attempted to withhold information from his
superiors. He is an egotistical, mad genius of a criminal whose insane, dangerous
puzzles baffle and frighten the residents of Twin Peaks.
