Plus his defense was dead tired being on the field so long so no point going to OT.

It really was their best chance to win the game to go for two. This is a team that was down what like 4 starters on defence going into the game and lost another 4 guys during the game. They really didn't have much left on defence so you either take your 50% chance of getting the two point convert and winning the game, or the 50% chance with the coin toss. If the team is 4-4 at this point in the year and in the hunt for the Division it's a different story. But for a team that's 1-7 nothing to lose.
Interesting finish to the Monday night game for sure. I think I forgot that Singletary is coaching the Niners now and that they'd respond to his comments from last week. The Cardinals took a lot of bad penalties, but to call them a bad team isn't accurate in my opinion. Their passing attack is probably the best one in the NFL right now. Fun team to watch when they attack. Plus intra Divisional games are a different animal, especially when a guy like Mike Singletary is bringing his team in a week after an epic melt down. Ask the Chargers Patriots, or Bronco's how easy a Division game is against a Patsy opponent.
