You know, watching King of the Hill last night after watching the Simpsons really gave some perspective. King of the Hill is still fresh and progressive, with strong lessons to learn. The Simpsons meanwhile are resorting to static characters, increasingly half-witted plot devices, and contrived re-hashes to deliver the same lesson as 12 other episodes.

I think Fox cancelled the wrong show. I couldn't stop laughing at that picture of Dale on the log ride with "unidentified special needs student" written underneath.

ABC could have a real gem on their hands if they pick up the show and keep it going.
