We stayed at the Lahaina (think that's right spelling) for half a week. Not bad, though better for a honey moon I think. Pumped in classical music (with only on or off) and no TV. Except for that it was pretty nice, great location amongst all the action near front street, near nightlife but not right on it, great lanai and comes with breakfast. Better than staying in Kehei in a hotel where everyone goes to bed at 10.00. Kannapali (sp?) is also good for that but pretty expensive. Guess it depends on what you want. A base that you're just staying at and ours would suffice, but if you want the whole hotel thing go for that instead of an Inn, and pay for it. The second one we stayed at was the Bamboola Inn run by a crazy french guy named pierre. He was pretty cool and will take you out sailing and whale watching for free if it works out. Plus he has some equipment for you to use for free. His place is basically a large house with suites bit like a condo. Again though if you want your beds made for you go for a hotel. My two cents. What ever you do do the road to Hanna.
