Actually i dont think USC deserves to be in a NC game at this point, not what I am arguing at all.
I just have a fundamental problem with a system that sees a team ranked at #5 on Saturday morning....goes out wins its game 56-0 that evening, and then Sunday morning sees itself as #7 in the country. That means in the course of 24 hours two other teams became better even though USC did exactly what it was supposed to do to at least stay where they were. There is a serious flaw in such a system. essentially they were penalized for winning. Just wrong on every level.
Hell...never mind that, but Texas Tech climbed 5 spots with one win. I dont EVER remember that happening before. Was it a great game and a tremendous win? Of course...it was a classic. But how that translates into the shuffle that occurred is nothing short of bizarre.
