1. It doesn't matter who mentioned it, it was an insensitive and moronic remark which should be condemned by all members of this board who possess rational thought. You should go and talk to people who have been overseas in Afghanistan and talk to them about what they have accomplished and the people they have helped in the process. It might mean more to me for a number of reasons, but your comments about not having any thanks or supposed respect for soldiers who fought overseas make me have significantly less respect for you as a person.

2. You can't introduce politics into a thread and then tell everyone you don't want it to be discussed.... that is what a message board is all about, the free flow of ideas and opinions.
