I donate every year and wear it proudly (and properly, for what it's worth).

I am also one of the only people who wear one at my work (for some reason).

A tip for wearing one: the best way to attach it is to put the pin through the poppy itself after putting it through your shirt the second time. It is hard to explain, but doing this makes it pretty much impossible to fall off.

People think I'm anti-war and anti-military. I'm really just anti-stupid war and anti-frivolous military. I'm intensely proud and am extremely thankful of those who sacrificed their lives for us (not counting those who died in Afghanistan, but I don't want to get into that in a thread like this).
