It's not disrespectful and anyone giving you that attitude needs to pull the stick out of their butt.

It's proper to wear it above your heart, but even if it's on a bag somewhere it shows that you have thought about the veterans sacrifice.

Whether it's for the sacrifices made in WW1-2 or for Canada's peacekeeping efforts, wear a poppy and show our vets that they are recognized and honoured.
