Yeah, I know. It's a minor quibble, but it's still a flimsy bit of business. I can understand keeping costs down (poppies used to have more layers of felt inserts years ago -- a green bit and a yellow bit as well as the black bit), but a durable pin might encourage folks to wear 'em longer.
