I am not trying to suggest you guys are a bunch of Animal House buffoons. If that was a pre-planned event, and the expectation was that drinks were going to be had ahead of time, which I know it was due to the DD thread, so be it.
And I'm not trying to get all reightous or anything. But I've had some friends get drunk, and not been able to talk sense into them, and they've made mistakes. I've know hockey players to have stepped over the line from time to time.
It just sounds like to me, it wouldn't have been something I would have wanted to be a part of. I don't know the parties involved, and I'm not trying to suggest that I'm all high and mighty, and that I don't make mistakes.
Just doesn't sound like anything good came out of this other than a story about a delay of game minor.
