Hell at least one guy was getting aggressive enough to get called for abuse of official, so maybe dangerous is the right word to describe your teams behaviours.

My teams???? I don't play on the team or have even met one of the guys on it. I assume that jayems and flameswin are on the team based on their posts but beyond that I have no connection to the team at all.
Abuse of the officials happens with or without alcohol and it appears that Jayems now says that he wasn't drunk.
I don't think that every team should go out and get drunk before every game but in this case it seems people are really getting worked up about nothing.
Perhaps it is me but isn't the point of these teams/games for people to go out and have fun? It seems that everyone did go out and have fun and that a few things happen that happen at rec hockey whether people are drunk or not.
I'll let the guys who were there defend themselves from now on (although they really have nothing that they should have to defend) as I wasn't there and they seem to be doing a fine job of it.
Anyways they had fun, thats what it should be about so I wish them luck in the season and hope that this thread doesn't stop them from having fun with the team in the future.
I would have loved to have joined had I lived in Calgary and this event does nothing to sway me one way or the other as to whether I would have still been interested. (Okay maybe it would make me want to join more as at least it appears these guys like to have fun rather than are trying to make the NHL as a 30 year old beer league player that is way too common nowadays.)
