Well, that specific incident (#77 & the ref) I didn't actually see (or hear about until after the game) but he was sober too (so I'm told). Just a hot head, I guess. And I wouldn't ever say the actions he's accused of would ever be appropriate.

Either way, I'm not arguing that the alcohol didn't play a part, I'm just having a hard time getting my point across.

I believe that because there was a few guys drunk, the ref decided that we didn't deserve a link of communication between us and him. Now, whether you believe that is acceptable or not because we fielded "drunk" players is open to interpretation, but what I'm saying is that because he decided not to open that door of communication, it made a few guys pretty angry. Now, putting a ref against the glass is in no way an acceptable course of action (whether he did that or not, again, I didn't see it). But the ref continued to compound the issue by refusing to speak to anyone, including As and the C and give an explanation. Now, in hindsight, this may be because of #77s actions, but again, I had no idea at the time. He just refused to speak.
