Darn, had that as one of my Wildcard picks. Definitely one of my favorite Jim Carrey movies, and one that I could watch over and over again (and do). This movie was definitely ahead of its time, and kind of spooky how a lot of the "out of this world" aspects of it have actually come true on the television screen since.
Also have to echo the love for Ed Harris. The part was originally held by Anthony Hopkins, but he had to back out and so Harris came on, learned the lines, researched the character, and shot his scenes...in two days. Really great job.
And Carrey...he proved so much with this movie. Really, it was the perfect fit for him to come out of his comedy-shell.
