The Truman Show!
What I love most in the Truman show is the subtleties. The nuances of performance and direction in the quiet moments. They contrast brilliantly as the subtext to the exaggerated phoniness of Truman's world and his persona within it. Ed Harris was also brilliant in this movie, playing the creepy yet sympathetic God-like figure with great success. The music in Truman is some of the best you'll hear, as well.
Just a phenomenal film all around.
