We had 68 in Coventry Hills. First year here so we really had no idea what to expect. We live off the main drag with tons of young families. It was mostly little kids and really stead for about an hour. We took our daughter around our cul de sac and then around half of the loop. That was enough for her. Had to empty her bag twice.

A couple houses around here were really in the spirit. Lots had decorations but this one had a knife wielding maniac pop out from beside the house and scare the bejesus out of kids. His makeup was spot on and I guess last year he had a chain saw. We saw this one kid freak out and try to run away... directly into the garage.

Another guy had a big table thing setup with a bowl of candy in front of a pumpkin. Kids would go take some candy and he would pop out of the table with a pumpkin on his head.

I can't remember the weather ever being this nice when I went trick or treating. It was friggin' awesome outside.

I've resolved to step it up next year and take this thing a little more seriously.
