I love, love, love this movie! One of the best dark comedies ever made, IMO and the film that made me a Vince Vaughn fan. Without Clay Pigeons, I wouldn't have experienced the goodness that is Made and Swingers!
It's the story of a serial killer who befriends a small town mechanic who winds up suspected of the murders himself. It's very small town....everybody knows everybody and their business. The movie plays on that very well.
Great performances by Vaughn, Joaquin Phoenix, Janeane Garofalo and Scott Wilson. Georgina Cates also turns in a wicked performance that really makes the movie sizzle.

Just good fun...and Vince Vaughn.....too good.
