for me I live just off a major sub-division so right there the neighbourhood kids go 5 minutes up the street where there's a ton more houses. They're more sparse where I'm at.

In addition to that the demographics of the area are older. Not many little kids around like when I was a wee lad. Ergo not as many trick-or-treaters. My parents the next street over got 6.
