Probably the single most important policy document in Calgary's history.

I urge people to get informed and participate in the process of crafting this plan.

This draft paper provides a clear and rational structure for future growth in Calgary. Existing communities staying largely the same, but evolving, density directed towards activity centres (tied to transit) such as the Centre City, Brentwood, Chinook etc, and building up urban corridors into great streets like Centre, 16th ave, 17th SE and so on. And creating new communities that more closely resemble places like Garrison Woods, or the proposed Currie Barracks - compact, attractive, walkable, transit-supportive, complete and SUSTAINABLE communities.
