I think everybody should just avoid dressing up as people.
For me, Halloween costumes should focus on:
-food (dress up like a M&M or Spree.. or a hamburger)
-movie character (Marilyn Monroe…the Terminator… etc)
-object (racing car, computer, mailbox, etc)
-weird stuff (zombie, ghost, gunshot victim)

Dressing up a Sarah Palin for example is not original and lame.
