Saying his victims are all serial killers may not be the right term. But that is the description that got me to watch the show in the first place. Other than Oscar Prado and the pedophile, they are all known murderers. Most murdered multiple times. And I figure that Oscar will be identified as a murderer before the season is out.
I like the struggle between his normal life and his addiction, too. However, that is often where I find anomalies. e.g. the fact that Rita hasn't mentioned his heroin addiction lately. And she also didn't really have a problem with Dexter overdosing her ex-husband.
Personally, I actually find it hard to describe why I like the show so much. Then again, I don't come to CP to talk about my feelings.
