And I get attacked for saying that 2 million won't vote for him because he is black. This should really make transplant's brain explode.
As for this attack, I agree that we will see lots more cases of unorganized nutjobs trying to take down Obama. It would take far more planning than anything that these hate groups could dream of being able to muster.
As for blaming every problem in the world on Americans, I don't think that fair. We blame the American government. And as Colin Mochrie said, you really can't blame the American people for that... they chose Gore. I guess you get the blame for the second term though.

As for the aforementioned riots, I think the person that said "why wouldn't there be riots?" was thinking what I was... that blacks, whites, latinos, asians, native americans, etc... would all take to the streets demanding justice. I hope it wouldn't spark race riots. Obama is *NOT* Martin Luther King. He is not speaking on behalf of the black community. He isn't making promises to African-Americans alone... he is talking about improving the lives of all Americans. I would hope that the black community would see that a solid progression has been made in the last few decades. Actually, if you asked me 2 years ago if I thought a black man had a chance to become president, I woulda said that was crazy. So strides, greater than anything I would have imagined, have been made. So I would hope that ALL Americans would be upset if there was an assassination, and they would focus that anger on the right party, rather than fighting amongst themselves.
