Default Google search - I did not know that.

I was playing around a bit trying to figure out how to use Google's site parameter to search CP.

So I tried something CP's search does NOT like, finding the thread started about Mad Men.

The first hing I tried was
Code:
mad men site:http://forum.calgarypuck.com/
which gives the results http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&cl...G=Search&meta=

Hmm, no luck there. There are a few hits, but not the thread dedicated to Mad Men.

But then I tried
Code:
Mad Men site:http://forum.calgarypuck.com/
which gives the results: http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&cl...G=Search&meta=

Eureka, first hit on the result.

So Google search is case sensitive - I did not know that.

Note: Interestingly enough, Google themselves say they are NOT case sensitive ("Google searches are NOT case sensitive. All letters, regardless of how you type them, will be understood as lower case. For example, searches for george washington, George Washington, and gEoRgE wAsHiNgToN will all return the same results." link), but the results of the above query say otherwise! (perhaps the Site: modifier affects this?)

Any other Google search hints that may come in handy in the future?
