Ya thats true. I wonder if these Thursday, very political SNL skits has to do with playing off the fame of the instantly famous Tiny Fey "Palin" sketch, and all the ratings it brought in. This is the most popular the show's been since the beginning of the decade. I think they may just be riding the wave.

As for Colbert and especially Stewart, ya I know they've always been like this. But in the last month or two they've really taken it up a notch. There's definitely enough comedic material out of McCain and Palin to jump on, but I find that lately they've even been taking IMO absolutely normal, innocent comments, and completely twisting them around to basically make every word that comes out of their mouths sound awful. I find it annoying. Its funny when Stewart jumps all over a ######ed comment by one of them. But lately he just grabs anything, I think he's pushing his agenda way too hard. I'll tune in again in mid-November...
