I'm really surprised that the team doesn't have more say over a situation like this. If the Patriots are flipping the bill there should be no debate on who or where the surgery is performed. It is a free country, but the Pats have millions riding on Brady's health. I wonder if they can sue Brady's doctor or even ask for salary back from Brady for his additional missed time. I know they would probably never get to that since they would not want to sour the relationship between Brady and the organization. Still the Patriots are getting screwed in this deal.
