Crap! I knew my pick was coming up fast but I have to plead negligence on this one guys and gals - had some company over for the game last night and didn't get around to making it later, even though with some responsibility could easily have done it earlier. My bad, sorry!
Anyway, here we go.
Team Clint Eastwood is overwhelmingly happy to announce as their selection for the Action category, Point Break (1992).
I have a lot I can say about this film but in keeping with the haphazard theme of this weekend I'll have to get to it later - this and about 5 other movies I still haven't written up. For now I will just say that I make no secrets that Point Break is my
favorite movie. This is a sentimental choice that I can objectively back up - I think it is a spot-on action masterpiece that in many ways I am bewildered hasn't been taken yet, although I did feel comfortable letting it fall, despite wanting to ensure I got it. If that makes any sense.
Again, apologies for not doing my part to keep this thing moving!
