I've always found that strange too. Hockey is the sport that should have the most home advantage (last change, last to put stick down on face off, good/bad ice, lively/unlively boards etc...)

But every year it seems to be 50%. Whereas sports like basketball and football have a HUGE home advantage.

I'll give this a shot.
