I've been a faithful SNL viewer since the early 90's "glory years". The show has had its ups and downs but the last couple of seasons have been great.

Kristen Wiig and Jason Sudeikis are fantastic performers. Kristen has the best characters and plays them perfectly. Jason has become the new "everyman" - he can play the ordinary guy or the total moron or the ######bag - and does them all well. He also did a hilarious cameo on Conan a couple of weeks ago playing in Ben Folds' band.

Seth Meyers is the head writer now that Tina Fey is gone, and you can see his style in many of the sketches. The show has become a mix of sarcastic and off-the-wall humour which makes it an interesting and unpredictable combination.

My only complaint right now is that they've overplayed the Palin thing. The first time was perfect and absolutely bang-on. Its gone downhill since then, its time to focus on some of the other candidates and issues.
