Calgary and Alberta have been the Green's strongest areas of support for the last two or three elections. There have been a handful of BC constituencies in each election that have given them stronger support, but Calgary as a city and Alberta as a province have been their power base. I'm not sure it that's because Calgarians and Albertans are any greener than votes elsewhere, or whether it's because it's easier for those who don't support the Conservatives to vote Green because an opposition vote doesn't make any difference in Alberta in the first place (give or take Edmonton-Strathcona). Likely the latter mostly.
