As T99 said, this party had 2 seats 15 years ago. Baby steps in some people's mind, but more then a reconfirmation this time around...building trust and familarity in Harper and the Conservative party.

And, going through another useless session of parliment this fall and winter could've been considered a bigger waste of time and money...this election will get out some of the deadwood (Dion) and also show the other leaders that the Conservative vote is more then an anti Liberal scandal vote, as many thought last time, and maybe work with them a little more..Harper's managed a minorirty government pretty well, and the other parties should recognize that leadership and take it a bit more seriously.
