Just ordered a 2.4ghz Macbook with the solid state drive. This is going to become my new primary computer for home & work, replacing a ThinkPad X60 which is itself an excellent machine.
I've been waiting to make the switch to a Mac for work stuff for a while, and this new model fits the bill to a T. I needed 4 gigs of RAM so that I can run a VMWare virtual machine comfortably, the machine had to be a 13" because I'm on the go all day long, and I don't want to haul around a 15" laptop, and the aluminum enclosure gives it the stiffness and durability I want in something that is on the road as much as I am.
I'm pumped, can't wait till it arrives! I enjoy irony, so I cheaped out on the $13 express delivery charge, thus saving myself 0.5% of the purchase price.
