The goal posts haven't moved. She got rid of a corrupt Republican Governor by exposing corruption. He no doubt had the support of many Republicans in the legislator. She than beat the old Democrat governor to win the office. Since she has been in she has been shrinking earmarks and balancing the budget. That is where the excessive vetoes come in. On top of that she has angered both the environmentalists and the big oil companies. Not bad for being in office for just over a couple years. Her only allies have been the Alaskan people. They have been the only winners.
