Should you in fact "leverage" your vote, what impact to you expect from doing that? In the T-bar of the political landscape, it is only one parties platform against anothers, therefore you are simply elevating the whole of the other parties stance. So, are you voting FOR their stance? 'Cause in the end, that is all that matters.

Vote FOR the platform/expected performance you think is best, not against it. And I encourage all people to do just that, regardless of which party that may result in your vote.

Vote FOR something people. Deal with the rest afterwards.
