Yeah, I was thinking about something like this too... apparently the way to run more than two monitors is a add a PCI video card for the one's that won't be playing games?

Currently have a 24" Samsung, know I'll eventually be outputting to TV as well... and then I'm thinking of grabbing one of those 22" 3D monitors (which needs two DVIs so...)

Don't have to do it yet, but if there's a good PCI card that would work for this, I should probably grab it before it goes out of stock.

My main card is a nVidia 9800 GTX.

Also heard that nVidia may be figuring out a way to allow multiple monitors with SLI, maybe another 9800 GTX is in order then? I'll have to figure out if I've got enough cables left on my PSU to do that. Or can I do this anyways? Two PCI-E 16x cards, four monitors?

As for you Hack&Loob, I've read that you shouldn't mix brands. Whether or not you COULD though, I have no idea.
