I don't think he's overhyped at all. He is an MVP candidate and wouldn't be surprised to see him win it.
As for your list I think your underrating him.

I know it's your list and all but what about Dirk Nowitzki, Ginobli, Brand, Gasol, Marbury. Those guys IMO all deserve to be in the top 25 or atleast ahead of some of the players up there.
