I guess my big beef was that the ######bag basically waited outside my house for the tags to expire so he could ticket me, I'm being sarcastic of course but it was not a long time expired, I have forgotten to re-register my plates for longer period of time and be given a warning. Additionally the ticket was given even though I explained to him about not being the actual owner...
Now apparently (according to another post) they are not allowed to give warnings, I have my doubts about that but assuming its fact, fine write me the ticket... does not giving warnings also mean not telling people "oh by the way if you don't pay this on time an arrest warrant will issued in your name" pretty sure I would have followed up on it with my roomy had either of us known the consequence of inaction. As it was we were under the impression the ticket was a lot like the issuer - a joke.

How did he give you the ticket? If the dog is in your house he would need probably cause to enter it. He would need to know that the dog is in the house and is the dog that the lincense expired for. For all the city knows the dog died in the past year and that is why the license expired or you could be house sitting someone elses dog. I don't see how he had grounds or evidence to give you the ticket.
