That's not why everyone is piling on.
It's the fact that he is making a big fuss about getting a ticket for something that a responsible dog owner should have known he wasn't supposed to be doing.
Moreover, when people call him on it, he gets really defensive and throws out things like "If you don't have a dog why are you reading this thread"
In my experience, people that complain the most about things like bylaw officers and poor customer service, and say things like "hey I was being nice and he was just a jerk to me" are generally prone to overstatemenat and are usually the cause of, not the victum of someone being a jerk. And by the way he's reacted in this thread, I'd say he's making it seem more and more likely that that is the case.
