Never worked a rotating shift, but when I was younger, I did a 4pm-2AM shift Mon-Thu. That shift was ridiculously awesome. No traffic worries, get errands done when everyone else is at work, and long weekend, every weekeend. The best part is that we'd call up a local bar at 1:45 and order about 6 drinks each, which would be waiting for us when we got there just after 2. Screw last call laws.
